Too busy doing and having as much as the world would offer, I forgot to meet me and just be…

Not a human doing but a miracle of life, a human be-ing…

Cloaked in expectations, thoughtless desires and unrealistic needs, I believed the illusions of my world were real…

Not unlike many, I have painted a portrait of myself and the world I created using the various shades of anger, fear and doubt…

While in the silhouette of my past, I fought incessantly to escape the terror of the present…

I longed for a future, even if unknown…

At some point, I found myself at an intersection in life that required me to awaken… in so doing, I could no longer sleep walk… instead, I awoke to take full responsibility for my thoughts, feelings and actions…

It is with pure intent I choose to be conscious, to breathe and to experience life abundantly…

As a graduate of Northeastern University I hold a M.A. in counseling… as a graduate of Mt. Senario College, I earned a B.S. in nursing… a Master of Arts, in education, was bestowed upon me from Bradley University… Medaille College brought forth a B.A. in education… an Associates degree in Applied Science and Nursing was awarded by Kishwaukee College… Post graduate work also included studies from both Northern Illinois University and Governor State University…

I had been recognized by the American Board of Hypnotherapy as a Registered Hypnotherapist…

I also had been a member of the American Counseling Association of Marriage and Family Counseling (AMFC) and IAODAPCA as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor…

In my professional world, I have conducted individual and corporate consultations and seminars in the areas of leadership, team building, assertiveness training and conflict resolution…
